Argyll Renewable Energy Show

Thursday 30th August in Oban

Building on the success of the previous two years shows, the 2012 Argyll Renewable Energy Show is coming to the Corran Halls in Oban on Thursday 30th August, 12 noon to 7pm.  Over 20 exhibitors from all parts of the renewable energy sector will be there, plus  information stands, exhibits, talks and presentations throughout the day

Argyll has abundant renewable resources, which represent a secure and sustainable energy supply for the future. If you’ve been thinking of the possibility of installing a renewable energy technology in your home, community, or business, this is your opportunity to see the technology, chat to a variety of installers, and find answers to all your questions.

Whether you are interested in generating electricity (for example, by solar photovoltaics, wind energy, or hydro) or in heating (for example by woodfuel, heat pumps, or solar hot water), this event can provide the information you need.

Find out more about how you could benefit from the government’s Feed In Tariffs and Renewable Heat Incentive. Come along and find out which technology is right for you – installers of a wide range of types and sizes of renewable energy technologies will be exhibiting at the show.  Argyll and Bute Council Planning Department and a number of energy related charities and advice organisations will also be in attendance.
